Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise the flight operations team, including pilots, co-pilots, and ground staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and briefings to communicate important information and updates.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily flight operations, including flight planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Monitor flight schedules and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance, air traffic control, and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all flight operations comply with aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing passenger concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Liaise with the customer service department to improve the overall passenger experience.
Training and Development:
- Organize and conduct training sessions for the flight operations team to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure the team is equipped with the latest information.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, safety, and other relevant metrics.
Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Lead the response to any in-flight or on-ground emergencies, ensuring passenger and crew safety.
