Fleet Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of the drone fleet, ensuring all drones are in optimal working condition.
Flight Coordination: Schedule and coordinate drone flights to meet operational needs and client requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all drone operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and certifications.
Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of drones, and coordinate repairs as needed.
Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report flight data to improve operational efficiency and performance.
Safety Protocols: Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure safe operation of drones at all times.
Training: Train and supervise drone pilots and other team members on operational procedures and safety standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of drone parts, batteries, and other necessary equipment.
Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with drone services.
Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response activities in case of drone malfunctions or accidents.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in drone operations, aviation, or fleet management.
Certifications: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent certification required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in drone technology, software, and GPS systems.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and client interaction.
